Thiess Rehabilitation recently presented at an Indigenous supplier information session in Emerald with business owners and stakeholders to provide an overview of Thiess Rehabilitation, and to better understand how we can work together to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and socially and culturally responsible mine rehabilitation projects.
Led by Jaimi Woodland, Acting Program Manager, Department of Seniors, Disability Services and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships (Central Queensland region, Rockhampton), attendees included a range of suppliers and stakeholders from Emerald and Central Queensland region.
As well as an overview of Thiess Rehabilitation, the information session provided opportunities for suppliers and stakeholders to ask questions about supplier setup and gain insights into involvement opportunities.
Through its project delivery, Thiess Rehabilitation offers various employment and commercial benefits, including Indigenous engagement strategies, female participation and new-to-industry initiatives and training.
